BEGIN WITH THE END IN MIND
So, you have made the decision to have professional portraits done. Congratulations! Now, what are you going to do with those images? What are your goals? How do you want to see these images in 5, 10, or even 20 years? It is easier to figure this out if you will start with the END IN MIND.
Where do you want to display your portraits? Do you want a grouping of images to hang on your wall, a single framed image or perhaps a custom designed heirloom album with lots of images from your session? We will design a unique plan for you and help you decide how and where your photos will be displayed in your home. All of your wants, needs and concerns will be discussed in your consultation, the first step of The Process.

Alicia Irvin is an award winning custom portrait photographer in Greensboro, North Carolina who specializes in maternity, newborns, children and families. We serve Greensboro and surrounding areas including High Point, Summerfield, Winston Salem, Kernersville, Brown Summit, Burlington, Mebane, Chapel Hill, Durham and beyond.
BECAUSE TIME FLIES.
My tag line says it all! I believe it with my heart and soul. When my children were little, my mother used to say "You will blink, and they will be off to kindergarten." And off they all went! Although some of the days seemed SO long when my children were small, all of the years flew by so fast! Each phase of life has gone by faster and faster. How does this happen? I'm not sure, but all the more reason it is important to capture your newborn, crawler, toddler, teenager, young adult and family at each phase in life.
MEET ALICIA
Alicia received her degree in Photographic Technology from Randolph Community College where she was also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. After receiving her degree, she opened her first portrait studio in downtown Greensboro. She has studied and trained with several of the country's leading newborn photographers and continues to participate in educational seminars to stay at the forefront of photography trends and technology. She has also received intense training in newborn safety in photography.
Alicia has earned several other degrees in photography. In 2016, she earned the Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) designation from the Professional Photographers of America (PPA). This was a milestone in her journey that required passing a rigorous exam on photographic knowledge and submitting a portfolio for technical evaluation. This certification reflects her commitment to excellence and requires recertification every three years to ensure she stays at the forefront of the industry.
In 2023. Alicia was honored to receive the Photographic Craftsman (Cr. Photog.) degree, also from PPA. This recognition is awarded to photographers who contribute to the profession as speakers, authors, or mentors. It's a testament to her dedication to not only creating beautiful images but also helping others grow in their craft and advancing the industry as a whole.
